Apologies to Stacey and everyone at Hardwick. I simply forgot on Sunday and am pissed off with myself for missing out. How I manage to function with such a bad Memory is a mystery. Sorry guys

Yo Ian. There are only so many Thursday's in the year. We have to fit two season's into one year. That said we could move one of the rounds of the team KO to a Sunday and play the Singles on a Thursday. This has been done before and the interest for the Singles did increase. However, many members said that they felt that Thursday should be for team pool. As competittons were optional, they should all be on a Sunday, giving you the choice. Why don't you put in a proposal for the AGM to have it changed. If the members agree with you then we will revert back to having the Singles on a Thursday and move one of the rounds of the team KO to a Sunday.

Why change it one season only to change it again the next. What we need is one season per year instead of two!

But that's what we found in the Team KO, which is why it was switched for early rounds to a thursday night.
Can't have it both ways

leagues of 8 teams. Easy!

Post by MalteseMauler on Dec 9, 2011 17:18:05 GMT
with 80 teams surely 10 a league is the logical number 10 divisions of 8 teams will be tough to manage and the committee already have enough on there plate without adding divisions 8 and 9 to the mad house

Oh my god I cant believe I am going to agree with Ian.
But if you add an extra couple of divisions and reduce the number of teams in each division you could free up enough Thursdays.
