Waterbeach 7-5 Portland Arms A. Resulting in Portland Arms A joing Cambridge Uni A playing in Division 2 next season, & expecting at least 1 of them bouncing back up next season. An enjoyable night had by all & would like to say to Dave Soul nice call on the rules when i was reffing - Dave called out that not enough balls hit the cushion from the break, I weren't sure if the cue ball counted, but as i weren't sure...i called a foul rerack 2 shots (& matey potted the cue ball of the break...lmao! but still went on to win, fair play ) Look forward to playing them in the Prem in a years time

The Break will be deemed a "Fair Break" if:-
At least one Colour is potted. AND/OR Four Object Balls (at least) are driven to a cushion.
You failed to mention that in "mateys" (our players) 2nd game he broke and didn't hit four balls onto the cushion either - I called foul break, he went on to win that frame as well. And there was another break where the pack hardly moved but luckily one ball went in. I would recommend you get a faster cloth but I think that would exacerbate the problem of the rolls your getting caused by your wobbly floor. Funniest quote from your team last night "the table might have a few rolls, but if you walk round it a few times that sometimes sorts it out"

Rathmore A 7-5 Hardwick SSC. Fairly standard and uneventful night as both teams are already promoted. Not a great standard of pool tbh, with occasional flashes of nice play, mostly from Hardwick, best being a lovely clearance against Matt in the final frame after he dry broke. Think it was difficult for both teams to really concentrate and get into the match, certainly not champagne pool FeeFye
