The rules as they are at present mean that a player gets 1 minute for a shot. What about a player that takes in excess of 40 seconds for every shot that he plays, and I do mean every shot, even a simple pot. As there is nothing constitionally wrong with this, surely there is something inherently flawed here. Maybe we should only allow 30seconds in future That should speed up play. Also, what is about so many teams that they do not hand over the table at 08HR20 as they should? We arrive early and then have to wait whilst the home team each has to have a practice game, with the table being handed over after 08HR30. Very frustrating and annoying. Seriously though, finishing an away game at 11HR45 is way too late.

Nothing wrong with taking 40 seconds a shot if you pot them all I would think the slow play is more to do with the shot choices and the ability of the player. Besides which you can't change the rules for 700+ players because 1 or 2 players annoyed you last night. The 60 seconds time limit comes from the EPA guidelines and probably shouldn't be changed. Personally I'd have it 30 seconds plus 1 timeout per frame, but lets not complicate and adjust a system that by and large works just fine the way it is.
