King's Head 6 White Lion A 6
This might sound weird but i swear having 9 players is not good. As we have that many, players often decide that they cannot make it. I am not saying it is not a genuine reason. However, i think if we only had six or seven then more effort would be made. We only had six and i had to go to work for 10. Fortunately the opposition let me play my second frame early. Thanks. First time i have played at the King's for about 5 years. Bit tight around the table but it is in good condition. Two of our better players lost twice each, Adrian Platt and Rob Parker. I guess that we should be happy with the draw. I understand Rob missed two blacks. Didn't see all the match so can't comment too much.

Fair enough, unlevel tables can be frustrating. Check for rolls on your practice game in future - then you can politey ask to have it levelled, failing that hit em a little harder. Maybe he imparted a bit of unwanted side on the shot?

we did and wayne was showing us where the rolls are, it was slighty higher one end, plus i ment he should of loss his 1st game not the second.

Geez, if thats an 'awful' table then i hate to think what your gonna make of some of the tables you'll play on. Yes there was a slight roll, for which it was explained why and apologised about before the match. We simply didn't have time to sort it out before hand. The table is normally pretty lvl indeed. Whats more, the Salisbury captain has no issue with the table because of any rolls, its simply a speed issue The table really wasn't much of an issue all night if i'm honest, it was more down to the really poor play from both sides if anything. Once we got 7-2 up our players for some reason didn't play normally and starting playing shots they wouldn't normally play. Not the best thing they should be doing i'll admit, but the Tev team really were playing poorly (except Wayne as normal ), and the match was won so i guess they used the time to try things out.

Dan's comments are his and not that of the teams, yes there was a slight roll, but that only annoyed me when I kept potting. It was a good match and we could have got a real kickin. Well played Salisbury. And good luck
