cheating lions 6-6 Tev. Con. B. your probs thinking why are they cheaters, they are because two games they had a foul wich they should off owned up to! and the bloke knew it dint touch a cushion because he kept looking at all are players and not one of us did he give a handshake too not that we would of done anyways! and if monkey was there im sure he would be embarrassed to have cheats in his team! and my 2nd game the bloke touch the black and got up waiting to see if the ref saw it wich the rest of my team did then went back down to take another shot at it. you guys maybe dessprate to win a game but dont CHEAT!

There's no rule saying you must own up to a foul.. But out of sportsmanship most people would, but if you saw it and all you team did... Where was the ref? And time keeper as second ref?

Kings Head 8 KSR 4
KSR went 2-0 up before we rattled off the next 4 to lead at the break. A great comback from Dan Barker got the ball rolling before Ade, Me and Mike gave us the lead at the break. Stephen and Nath got us 6-2 up before KSR got a couple of frames back. Then the one and only Mouley rattled off the final frame to give us the 8-4 win.
Good evening a nice bunch of lads. They were a ocuple of players down so im sure the result maybe different at their place (if their ringer is back to full health ; p)

anyways, 4-2 down Wayne was unlucky not to win his frame. 2nd. half we pulled it back. Wayne again looses so it was down to me and Paul to get the draw! i'm not trying to make anything big out of this by the way people. just the fact that both players cheated in there frames. as there was no time keepers nothing can be done about it. so we will just have to move on .

For the record I don't think the Lion would cheat anyone.
Why say you are trying not to make a big deal out of it after mentioning it for a third time on the same thread.
If you were so convinced they were cheating after the first 'cheat', then you should have made damn sure you were timekeeping for the remainder of the match. Why, if you were so convinced you were cheating, was this not done? Only you can answer that.

Daniel I seem to remember that when I spoke to you about owning up to a foul that you said to me that it was the refs job to spot it Just saying. Anyway, my view has always been that the player should always own up to a fouls irrespective of whether or not the ref has seen it. I and the rest of my team are scrupulous about that.

ps if anyone is due to play at hardwick good luck, easily the most appalling table i ever played on but i know its not the teams fault the venue keep moving it and didnt appreciate the comments from their teams supporters fair play to their captain ollie i have great respect for that fella after how he handled himself wish the rest of the team could have behaved but at least he spelt it out there and then so bless ya mate oh and talk about slow its the last time i will ever play a match without it being timed im sure one frame lasted nearly an hour !
Anyway not going to dwell on it now vented myself now and now to move on bring on next week !!!

also James i am not the division 4 secretary so i cannot enforce the timekeeping and as BOTH captains had agreed not to use it prior to the match i could not do anything (i maybe wrong but i think your the captain of fulbourn) so maybe not agree to not using it before saying i did nothing about it.

i cant force my opposition captain to agree can i ? either way after last week at hardwick we will want to be timing every game i know that will annoy a lot in our division as nobody likes to time but to be honest its really needed i think in truth timing is more required for the lower divisions as generally they arent as clued up as the prem/div1 so it may actually help them with rules etc. put it this way with no disrespect to hardwick if the game last week was followed exactly by the rules they would have lost comfortably now im not taking there win away from them but it is an unfortunate fact really we arent hitlers we want a laugh on pool nights more than anything but there was sooo many appalling decisions and missed fouls by hardwick it was a proper disgrace and as soon as i mentioned one a few chaps starting swearing at me having a go (during my game) and a fella also tried to drag me outside (also during my game) in my books thats terrible behaviour by any standard on the plus side i somehow managed to win that game despite being totally distracted throughout that is what my team had to put up with at hardwick
the only reason we completed the match and signed the card was only due to there captain ollie who spoke to his players etc and told to pack it in of course at that point it was frame 10 but quite frankly lets be honest even with a genuine complaint the committee either wont or cant enforce anything
finally for the record i requested a timer at hardwick they didnt offer one so does that mean we cant time ? or can i push it and demand it so to speak ?
