You can still enter on the day for £5 but must arrive by 10:00 at the latest. We cannot hold up the tournament waiting for stragglers.

All players must register with the top table in advance of their start time, if you are running late for reasons outside of your immediate control then call me (my number is on the contacts page of the www.cambridgeareapoolleague.co.uk website).

If you think there is a chance that you will be late then feel free to text me (making clear who it is) on the morning to confirm you will be attending and you will be put in the draw.

Those entering on the day with be randomly put in either the 10.15 start or the 12:00 start, and therefore may be waiting for a couple of hours to play. If you know you will be playing, contact me and arrange for me to get the £5 entry, and then I will be able to draw you into one half or the other and to tell you your start time in advance of the day.

I've put you in the draw, you have a 12:00 start though try to be a little early to make sure you register in time.

If I don't see you this evening, I'll get the £5 off you on the day.

Paul Stelmaszuk won 7-6 in the final against Michael O'Boyle. Nosh and Stacey Tite got to the semi finals respectively.

Joff Middleton won against Paul Reed in the final of the plate with Stuart Cassidy and Lawrence Beech reaching the semis of that event.

The tournament went smoothly and thank you to all who by taking part made it a great day. 54 runners in the main event and 36 in the plate ensured there was a lot of pool being played!

minor tweak barry lindsey beat me 5v2 not 5v1 not that it matters i still lost lol and i know my plate pre-lim score which was 3v0 to aaron o'connell
