CAPL Open - 26th November 2011

The CAPL Open will take place on Saturday 26th November. The field will be split into two draws, one starting at 10.15am and the other at 12.00pm.

You can still enter this event for £3 up until Sunday 20th November, however I need to have the money in my possession by then for you to be entered. I will be at the Cambridge Snooker Centre on Thursday evening; or you can leave a list of names to be entered along with the entry money in a sealed envelope behind the bar at CSC for me to collect. If you do this, then text me to let me know you have done so. (my phone number can be found in the committee section of the www.cambridgeareapoolleague.co.uk website)

You can still enter on the day for £5 but must arrive by 10:00 at the latest. We cannot hold up the tournament waiting for stragglers.

All players must register with the top table in advance of their start time, if you are running late for reasons outside of your immediate control then call me. A full listing of players by start time will appear on the website after Sunday 20th.

If you think there is a chance that you will be late then feel free to text me (making clear who it is) on the morning to confirm you will be attending and you will be put in the draw.

Those entering on the day with be randomly put in either the 10.15 start or the 12:00 start, and therefore may be waiting for a couple of hours to play. If you know you will be playing, contact me and arrange for me to get the £5 entry, and then I will be able to draw you into one half or the other and to tell you your start time in advance of the day. I cannot put you in the draw until I have your entry.

On competition registration night, it was made clear that entries can be made up to the date. You can still get into the comp for £3 if I get the money by Sunday 20th November.

I will be confirming with my team who is playing in it at our match this Thursday, as I'm sure many other teams will be.
