do both players that play in the mens doubles have to play in the same team
we entered a pairing in which both players were signed for the moon b but one has left without playing a game and now plays for another team
can they still enter as a doubles partnership?
it isnt team doubles so i wouldnt imagine this should cause a problem. both are CAPL players although they play for different teams

I think it's required that you play for the same venue, not necessarily the same team though. However, your circumstances are different, but it might be ok.. You could give Sarah a text and ask her, as she would know.

I heard there was a Rathmore Scotch Pairs event not too long ago, it was a great idea and there should be more of the same in future.

Doubles in Pool is ridiculous. It's not like snooker where you get lengthy safety battles. I reckon Scotch pairs should be the norm for Doubles.
In fact the team events should have a similar set up to the Mosconi..
How about a team frame, then 2 triples frames, 3 Doubles (all scotch) 6 and singles? That is 12 frames total.
becomes much more of a TEAM event
You could give it a go (prem only) in the summer league?
