Losers side frames will now be race to 4.
Anyone interested must get a form filled in with at least £30 to me or into CSC ASAP. Have just received three entries from Haverhill and and sending three more from non Cambridge entrants on their way plus another from cambridge tonight.
It is filling up fast. Half full now with lots of interested people from CAPL yet to commit. First come first serve, don't be a reserve.
Daz.

Hi Guys,
Not enough entries have been received to run this event as a series, (Unfortunate really as we ended up with more entries from outside of the CAPL than in it, there would have been a good mix and some new people to play and show them what CAMBS pool is all about,) but I am determined to make something happen!
Therefore, the dates will be run as single events along the same format and rules. there is no commitment to pay up front unless you want to and you can just turn up and pay to play on the day if you so wish.
The first event is this Saturday. I would like to gauge interest by way of the classic "put your name down" list in the following post. I will be at the AGM tonight pumping this down everyones throats. Apologies in advance to the committee, but Monkey did invite me to do this!!!!!!!!!

Still on. Not sure how many runners. I know there are a couple of big guns missing so if anyone is interested this is your best shot on Saturday for a decent run in a small comp. 12 start. Be there at 1130 to regidter. £15 entry. I will make the races longer on the winners side if less than 16 runners. Last time out we were done by half six with 16 runners. Anyone interested who has got a comp final coming up it good practise. Two matches gaurenteed! Ring or text for more details 07545sixthreenine526.
Sorry for typos, on the phone!
Cheers,
Darren..

Hi Guys,
Getting this up early in the hope that the last independant pool comp of the year in cambridge will be well attended. Saturday 17th november sees the last double Elim style comp of the year at CSC. Entry is £15 for prem and Div 1 standard league players, £10 for lower div standard players. Registration at midday for a 1e:30 start. Winners section races to 6. Losers section races to 5. If there are enough entries there will be a straight KO (best of 7) plate comp for 2nd and 3rd round losers of the main comp or anyone else who wnats to play in plate only. Plate entry will be £5. Need to be at club for 3pm in order to enter plate.
Main comp prize money paid to 4th place gauranteed, if more than 16 entries, will pay down to 6th place. Plate entries money will pay according to entries.
All money in is paid out. Tables on free play. Match winners to clean tables. If there is enough interest will have a £1 a pop speed pool comp also.
This is a great chance for some good competitive practice. Two matches gauranteed in the main comp.
My number is on the contacts page of the league website or probably the first post of this thread! I would prefer you to book your place so i have an idea of numbers but anyone can turn up on the day also.
Thanks for reading, i hope it makes sense as on my phone!
Cheers, Daz.

I'm working to unfortunately. It's not a proper double eliminater anyway, hence the word "style" in the current disclaimer ;-)
