Hi All,
I am selling my Parris cue and wanted to offer it on here first for a week or so before I put it up for auction on ebay.
I bought this cue originally as it is solid enough to play snooker with yet comes with a 9mm tip as standard making it also very suitable for playing pool. This is one of the few Parris cues that you can get with a 9mm tip which is specifically tapered with a thinner shaft (modelled on a cue designed for Steve Davis originally)
Recently I got a John Bradford pool cue which, as lovely as it is, really isn't ideal for playing snooker with. I'd intended to keep both cues (JB for pool & Parris for snooker) but have now decided to pack in snooker and sell my Parris.
I still love this cue and have looked after it very well, and it's basically in a 'like new' condition. I just don't see the point in it sitting under my bed doing nothing so have decided to sell it.
DETAILS:
======================
John Parris 3/4 Ambassador cue (modelled on a cue made for Steve Davis)
Ash shaft with plain ebony hand-spliced butt.
Length: 57.5" (22" butt with joint 16" from the end)
Tip: 9mm Tip
Weight: 18.5oz
S.D. joint in butt for screw in extensions
Mint condition
Retails new for around £300 (including VAT)
======================
======================
6" ebony mini-butt extension
Mint condition
Retails new for around £30 (including VAT)
======================
======================
Cue Craft Aluminium 1pc case (silver)
Good working order, some scratches but overall good condition
Retails new for around £50
======================
Parris cues hold their value very well and I am confident I will be able to get a good price for it as I've seen the exact same cue sell for over £250 on ebay in the past.
Will sell everything above for £250.
If you're interested then please send me a PM. Please note that I'm not prepared to haggle on the price at this point, so please don't waste your time in trying.
Cheers,
Craig
