For anyone out there who has or knowsa child who would like to play regular pool in a league, we are now looking for players for the next season to start in march 2008. Basic format as follows:
NEW * There will now be a group for 16-18 year olds. NEW * Youth will be split into groups. * Groups will be determined by a random draw. * Matches will be 3 frames long. * Groups will be a round robin format. * Youths will play 3 or 4 matches per fixture. * Points will be awarded for the number of frames won per match. * Trophies will be awarded for the winner and runner up of each group. * The top 4 from each group will play off for an overall winner’s trophy. * All fixtures to be played at Cambridge Snooker Centre. * All fixtures to start at 10.30am.
Dates for the new season and reg sheet can be found in Youth Pool League section of this forum.

Dates are:
Fixture 1 – Saturday 8th March 2008. Fixture 2 – Saturday 12th April 2008. Fixture 3 – Saturday 10th May 2008. Fixture 4 – Saturday 14th June 2008. Fixture 5 – Saturday 12th July 2008. Fixture 6 – Saturday 9th August 2008.
you will qualify if it is based on the start of the tournament dan!!

Bearing in mind that I have to get the Saturdays off, it wouldn't be worthwhile - especially when you consider it would mean I wont be able to enter other events like I did last year
