V good result for us. And v v good performances from nosh and especially jamie who was immense! They both beat Si and Michael. From 9-5 up we should have closed it out, and had a few chances, but happy with the draw  |

really enjoyed our match last night could be a good season ahead
on top of the clearances we ground out some good frames (well done ed and andy) and the greenley getting the winning black was magic
one of their players played one shot all night! - monkey broke and dished in the first frame then the boy went in off his own break only for mr smillie to dish him up, quite funny really!!
onwards and upwards!

Was i guess a good result for us, but maybe we should have won. Should mention we got given 2 frames too as mickeys only had 8 players, but even without those it was very close and we had 2 great chances to win the match and chris rattled what would have been a match winning black ball. Not to worry, on we go!  |

it was a fair result considering the dire table.
Wasn't a showcase by any means.
Hopefully we will have the full squad next month and will be very different.
Nice to come back from 3-0 down (effectivley 5-0) and 9-5 to grab a draw.

Simon Rivers Paul Stelmaszuk Michael O'Boyle Ian Norris Mickey Lambert Mick Conlon Will Scott Adam Armstrong It may be 8, but it's probably better than all the previous Elite teams fielded regardless of being 1 player short. Pretty sure we would have taken 9-9 before the match, although not sure at 9-5! |
