Good weekend in Yarmouth really enjoyed it, results did not really go our way in the team event Moon A and Run went out to the team they beat run on frames and the moon on a 3 frame play off ely went out losing 2nd match 8-6 when needing a draw,on anothere day all 3 could have gone through unlucky guys. I won my first game 5-2 in singles event then lost 5-1 in last 16 to Paul Hawkins who went on to be losing finalist played nowhere near my best in either match but have ot been playing well last 2 weeks still a good experience all the same will try and take some better form if i get that far again Well done to Simon who won a flyer and Joff who got to the final losing to Gareth Hibbott who for those who dont know him is a top pro.

Great weekend. We steamed through our group unfortunately this meant we had to wait for hours for our last 16 opponents. This meant we went on cold where as they finished their last group match then went straight on to play us. We were 6-1 after the first session. We clawed it back to 8-5 but there was just too much to do. I played well in the nationals till I was 4-2 up and then lost my head eventually losing 5-4. In the World Masters qualifier I played really well getting to the last 16 going 3-2 up against Niki Ball then made the silliest of mistakes in the 6th frame which was the only mistake I made all day. Niki broke and dished the last frame She is a quality player who reached the quaters in the CofC losing to Carly 5-3. Niki went on to qualify for the World Masters. Another Yarmouth I learned alot roll on the next one
