Can you use other eligible players from other teams? I'm sure the county could get a side together?

The thought had crossed my mind but.... Is Yarmouth ready for another visit from Martin so soon after last month? More to the point, could Martin cope with another weekend in Yarmouth so soon ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well, I'm shocked by CSC not going. Again a Cambs team lets us down ny not entering the finals. it is a bit pathetic to play interleague, if you don't want to go to the finals. After all... Isn't that the point?
Also Martin would have gone had he knew. Perhaps it isn't too late to enter... find out ASAP

Isn't that the point? Also Martin would have gone had he knew. Perhaps it isn't too late to enter... find out ASAP I AGREEInter-League for me was a bit of a farce last year, with Teams dropping out, Teams not showing up and Teams playing with only six players! Peterborough failed to turn up in Yarmouth for the Cup Event and now CSC are not taking a Team to Yarmouth in April? These poorly run Teams are spoiling the League for the Teams who DO want to Compete and Represent Cambridgeshire in the Nation Finals in Yarmouth! I think it really needs sorting out and I hope that the Teams that have Entered this Season are going to be committed to the cause and that the League is run properly. I have Entered a fully committed Team that would love the chance to compete in Yarmouth. I am bitterly disappointed that we haven't got that opportunity in April because another team who can't be bothered to show up in Yarmouth, finished one place above us! I have just spoken to Ron and told him that my Team would gladly take CSC place in April, if he can pull the necessary strings, however he didn't fill me with optimism! Andy, you know me better than that! I am ALWAYS up for a weekend in Yarmouth!

I have had it confirmed that KSR cannot take their place but are in the hat to be drawn to replce them if CSC do not get a team together. I would suggest puting your players (and Yarmouth A&E ) on standby Martin. You never know...

this is rididulous and exactly the reason i am not interested in playing in this league
why spend a whole season playing and not send a team
the KSR should automatically get their place

This again seems Farcical to me! If Cambridgeshire were awarded 3 places at the Finals and one of the top 3 finishers cannot make it then why is the place not offered to the 4th placed Team? Why should one of the other Counties benefit and take a place that was offered to Cambridgeshire? Why should it involve names going in a Hat? I played in the Finals 2 Seasons ago and Cambridgeshire had the Top 4 finishers there! Due to both a) This Farcical Method and b) The Farcical way Our League has operated this Season, it looks like Cambridgeshire will only have 2 representatives now at the Finals this April! I personally feel, with the amount of Pool Events and the number of keen players in Cambridge alone, this is a great shame!

Another county, not so close to yarmouth, would normally only get 2 allocated slots. Bedfordshire had the same opportunity afforded them and was at one time being offered 4 slots, they failed to deliver teams for 2 consequetive seasons and these 2 bonus slots where withdrawn the next time. I reckon that the superleague teams now on paper seem to be much more commited/stronger than before. I hope, in light of previous years "poor show", that the extra slots are still offered. Any opportunity to relay to Ron how much more committed and better classed teams are available this year may later help the allocation process.

I agree Martin. Given enough notice the next in line (imo) should get the slot.
The EPA have opted for a reserve list (of which you are in), in order to keep it random. If you look at it another way... If another county withdrew a team then we could have drew yourselves and had 4 teams going.
cake and eat it scenario...
