I would be happy to make the 'C' team.

It would be cool if they do form a C team - I seem to remember them talking about that during the last trials, with plans to organise friendlies against other counties. It never materialised, not sure whether that was through lack of interest, or whether they couldn't find someone to captain it, or what, but it would be good if they could get it going this year!

there may be a c team but they will play other teams unoffically and the captains will have to arrange thing's themselfs with the same teams that a and b teams play e.g if they are playing suffolk the c team will have to see if suffolk have a c team and play on the same day but if not they wont play at all and yes snooker centre need to tender for next years county matches

would be even better if the R4 counties had the capacity to make 'c' matches competitive

Cambridge "A" battered Essex 29-15 yesterday. Everyone played well and we had some silly thoughts of winning 30 something to possibly nick the group. Not to be.
Promising signs for next year tho. Who is retained is not going to be easy to decide.

Hi Dale,
Whats the score with the trial mate in trms of final number for the mens team? How many have been retained and how many does that leave in terms of spaces to fill?
Thanks,
Darren.

Whats happening with the womens trial were there enough entrants? If not what happens next for those that did enter? As far as I know there are just two (maybe 3)! Last year we got a phone call saying there wasn't enough to trial-just turn up first match. It wasn't long before the actual date we were supposed to trial though!!!! My advice is...if you don't here anything, trials are on!
