Hey guys,
First and foremost, I hope you all are well and safe with the current COVID situation. Hopefully we will be on course with the final scheduled Step 4 roadmap out of lockdown date (21st June). So that everyone can play pool again. Which brings me to how we the committee, have planned out how to finish the winter 2019/2020 season.
If things go accordingly to plan, with the government roadmap to out of lockdown. As you may already be aware on 17th May (Step 3), many pubs and clubs will be reopening after a long lockdown and some venues may let the use of their pool tables at this time, but some venues may not, until the end of the lockdown on 21st June.
When the final lockdown restrictions have been lifted & meet the scheduled date of 21st June, we will be offering you guys a 3 week period between 1st July to the 15th July. To arrange your last matches between your teams. All the matches will be played within this time scale. For those who are unable to field a team at this time, will not receive any punishment as stated in the constitution under section 18. Point 11. due to extreme circumstances. As per normal, can the home teams please inform your Divisional Secretary and the Overall Division secretary if & when you plan to play the matches, so any amendments on the website can be changed accordingly.
For those who are finding it hard to find a venue between these dates, you can contact the Overall league secretary, who maybe able to help you with this.
Finals week: The Competition Secretary will be getting in contact with those who are concerned. Then once the dates have been arranged, will be publicly announced.
Presentation evening: will be confirmed between now and the end of finals week, on when it will be held, with details of venue to be publicly announced.
Any questions, please refer to your captains, for them to contact your divisional secretary.
Thank you and stay safe
