Milton 8Ball is proud to announce the GRAB-A-GRAND!! 💷💷💷💷💷
Starting from Monday the 12th of August 2019, we will be hosting two events per week, on Monday and Wednesday nights. Along with the prize money available from any given event, participants will also be given ranking points for their performances in these events, and at the end of the specified period, the top two ranked players will have the opportunity to play off in a one-time, streamed match for the prize of ONE THOUSAND POUNDS!!
The 40 events will be held over the remainder of 2019, with the final Wednesday event being moved from Christmas Day to New Year’s day.
Tournaments will begin at 7:30pm.
Entry fee for any event will be £5, with tables on free-play. All monies paid in will be paid out for each and every event, and each event will have a guaranteed minimum prize of £50 to the winner, regardless of entries.
Races are best of fives in all rounds, and are played to World Rules.
In order to make the events fair and accessible to all, players deemed to be “Elite” will be handicapped in the following way: a “non-Elite” player will start on +1 against any “Elite” player. All matches featuring players who are either both “Elite” or “non-Elite” will be played as a straight race to three.
The final, GRAB A GRAND 💷 match will be played as a race to eleven, off levels if both players are in either the “Elite” or “non-Elite” bracket. If, however, players from different brackets finish in the top two places in the rankings, the “Elite” player must give the “non-Elite” opponent a five frame start in this match, with the race still to eleven frames.
The final Monday night and Wednesday night competitions will be for DOUBLE POINTS.
All players have one “Joker”🃏 which they can announce they wish to play before play commences at any one event, which will grant them DOUBLE POINTS for this event.
Tournament organisers reserve the right to take decisions for the benefit of the event as a whole.
For entry or more details, please contact John Chapman.
