Yeah, we noticed that, Eddies point for the hotshots has also been removed. I thought the card had been signed by both captains, so not really sure what's going on!

So, now the season has finished and the dust has settled, would someone from the committee, preferably the League and Hotshot secretary. Please explain the reason for expunging the frame, that Eddie Richardson won (fair and square) against Rob Dean in our match against White Horse! Thanks.

Yeah, I think you have to go on faceache to get heard nowadays! I mean, why would anyone discuss pool matters on a pool forum?

To me the correct procedure would be (and the one i used and the committee before me)
Team complain about frame to committee.
They get all facts from captains/players and make a decision.
Captains advised of outcome and advised they can appeal in writing to chairman If appeal received, sits 3 man committee panel where captains say their bit and a decision is made.
I'm sure this has been followed unless exceptional circumstances.
I would contact your div secretary by txt or whats app to get your answer.

Ok, it doesn't look like the league and hotshot sec is going to bother lowering himself to discuss this matter with me, either on here or elsewhere it seems. Now that the frame in question has proven to have not affected anybody's league or hotshot positions, I wonder if anybody might tell me, why all this bother ever needed to happen in the first place.
Bearing in mind that all I did, was to call a foul, the way I saw it, and explain my reason for doing so, to the player at the time. Why does the player even have the right to get the frame wiped away?
The reason for me calling the loss of frame foul, was for unsportsmanlike conduct, following an example given in the world rules.
From the World Rules : Loss of frame foul (8). If a player breaches the "spirit of the game" to such an extent that the frame should be awarded to the opponent.
From the Referee's Guidelines and duties : The referee will call fouls as soon as they occur, and the fouled player loses control of the table.
From English pool referees association : Loss of frame fouls - call "loss of frame", explain reason.
From EPA playing rules : Points that will be classified as "breaching the spirit of the game" : Foul language. Arguing with an opponent, spectator or referee. Continuously disagreeing with the referee's decision, and/or ruling. Player (or player's partner in doubles) breaking down or putting away cue.
The referee should ensure, the game is played according to the rules.
From the Constitution : ALL MATCHES ARE TO BE PLAYED ACCORDING TO EPA WORLD RULES AND GUIDLINES.
So, once again. Why did this frame get wiped? Who's decision was it? And what evidence was used to make the ruling?

Wow, the silence is deafening!
I guess this goes to show, that if you want to act like a bell end, and behave in an unsporting manner, don't worry if the ref awards the frame to your opponent. Just shout obscene insults at the ref, threaten to knock out your (wholly innocent) opponent, then complain about it on social media (preferably Faceache). A horde of chinless keyboard warriors will no doubt gobble up the bull you post, then regurgitate it with righteous indignation. Probably followed by the little echo monkeys that will wish to bask in the glorious noise of their peers. The League sec will then dutifully cow tow to you, and all will be well! xxx

If you break your cue and put it away itâs accepting defeat. The opponent shouldnât even go near the table after that has happened cause thatâs where the âI was using my breaking cueâ rubbish comes out. If you think youâre gonna lose a frame just shake the opponents hand then put the cue away if you really must. But really this is is all a bit silly especially in div 1, this might be one teams word against another but reguardless, unsportsmanlike behaviour is pathetic.
