Camb Uni 4v8 Emperor Penguins - some great pool was played a managed a nice dish if i do say so myself but a solid performance from our team got us over the line in truth we could have secured a more convincing scoreline but im more than happy with the result and to be fair to the uni they did dig there heels in well ! PS i agreed with capt not to time big mistake the game didnt finish till midnight i would recommend timing as they are all very slow players, even mr o'boyle couldnt resist having a joke about it haha

Sir Isaac 9 v 3 Fulbourn Institute A (Div 3!!)**
Late post due to a visit to darkest Staffordshire to see the mighty U's stuff top of the table Burton 3-1 - what a match!
Anyway, back to the pool (groan) We were a bit short with Gavalar deserting us for pastures new, Dean retiring for the winter season (think he's a ruddy tortoise - says he will come back out in the spring) and Michael down in that there London watching Lee Evans sweating a lot.
We managed to get 6 players by dragging Craig out of retirement for his first game in a long time, and although he lost both, he put up a very credible showing.
Although we had our chances and should have done better, I couldn't argue with the result in the end.
Good night with a nice bunch - we will beat them one day!!!
** Edit: Ha Ha, just realised, automatically posted on same page as Mauler, but forgot he has now been promoted to Div 2!
