Would it not make sense to have captains meetings in or at least near Cambridge? expecting 10 captains to travel 13 miles out and 13 miles back just to collect a few scorecards seems unreasonable.

Could always pop them on the bus & we could just pick them up at our nearest bus stop...

Don't worry about it Dave. You're not in div 1 anymore mate! 2. Caldecote IS near Cambridge. 3. Not all div 1 captains (or reps of) live in Cambridge.

I think it's a good idea having it at the secretary's venue as teams that turn up show dedication to playing in the league and as FBI said not all captains/representatives live in Cambridge.

I agree that the secretary should have this meeting at their choice, due to their free time being taken up with feeding in the results & resolving issues for our divisions for the season ahead. All but 1 (who made prior arrangements with their pacs) made it to the meeting, shame only Evan & myself took to the table...lol (Yo Kerry, don't think my status was the best 1 for getting your point across lol)
