After gauging the interest, the snooker league is a goer! It's going to be a tight schedule as it must start in the first week of June, so the registration deadline is Friday 25th May (on, or before that day). To register you must pay your £10 to CSC and provide name/mobile - telling me you're interested doesn't count.
I'll put a draft set of rules on the CAPL forum over the next few days, but in general;
- £10 registration - £5 per player per match (maybe lower) - 6, or less, players per division - 4 frames per match - players placed in a division that matches their ability (handicapped if required) - approximate prizes of 1st £65, 2nd £40 and 3rd place playoff of £25 for positions 3,4 and 5 - up to 2 matches per month, played in June, July, August, playoff evening early September - divisional prize money is not weighted and will be based on the money taken from your division. Players dropping out will directly affect the prize money in the division they drop out from. - a frame is considered 'won' as soon as the opponent needs 10 points or more in fouls (plus the remaining balls!) to win. The player at the table may continue their current break, after which the frame stops. - all matches to be played at CSC.
