Already booked more than half my holiday quota for the year on pool related events, otherwise I'd be well up for this

I'm interested. Quick question though: why is it starting so late? If you get 16 runners, with two tables, this'll be a 'come back Sunday' job. Just a quick estimate, to give an idea: 16 runners = 15 matches, so each table will have 7 matches minimum, all other things being equal. Let's suggest the average number of frames is 11 per match (which is probably about right, given the handicaps etc) Furthermore, let's suggest the average frame time is 12 minutes, taking into account racking, messing around between matches, toilet breaks, etc. That means you're looking at 924 minutes (or nearly 15 and a half hours) of consecutive play on each table, and that's without the final. Even if my numbers are out by 20%, the semis are still going to finish in the early hours of Sunday. Fancy starting it at 11?

Probably won't be an issue with only 5 runners.

Most weekends, MOB is incapable of walking unlike his big drinking brother.

How many runners are there for this? I'm not gonna make the effort unless there are 16 or more. :/
