I've played a lot of frames against the StelMagic, and it's really hard to pick weaknesses out of his game. He can be one of the most relentless players when it comes to potting, and rarely see him drop his form like other players with his level of ability.
He'll be the first to admit that he's still not the finished article, and doesn't have the experience that someone like Phil has around the table, but I feel it's only a matter of time.
All that said... give him a racker and he plays like Quasimodo on a bad day.

i dont think your going to do any better when changing your game against paul yes he is a great potter but at the end of the day the right shot is the right shot, people play tactics against him and to be fair to him he isnt stupid and knows the game well he can play that side aswell I know he's a far far better player better than me, all I was annoyed with was than I changed my tactics last night and tried to play safe when I shouldn't have done and I normally wouldn't have done... I'd be surprised if I get a frame against him in the tour if he plays as well as he can, but I might as well give it my best shot and make sure I learn from him... after all, if I dish 7 times I'll be alright!

The best way to beat the magic is hope he doesn't pot off the break and "don't miss" End of lesson.
Frightening player.
