Following tonight's committee meeting the criteria for qualifying to play in C of C for 2009 was established.
As both leagues are affiliated we are entitled to send 4 sets of teams.
The Summer and Winter league winners and runners up are eligible. Along with the mens and ladies singles winners and runners up.
In the event of duplication the following will apply;
The Summer places are set, as this is the first league completed.
Then the teams that have already qualified are taken out of the equation for qualifying from the Winter league. In the event of duplication the following order will be used;
Knock out Cup winners 3rd in the league 4th in the league etc.....
The same criteria will apply to singles with those that have already qualified from the Summer league taken out of the equation and semi finalists from the Winter league singles playing off if necessary.
This has been set by the committee for this November's C of C.
However, if players wish to change this selection policy for next year then please submit your proposal through the normal channels.
The teams and individuals that have qualified will be notified in due course by Garry Browne.
I hope this is clear. If not please feel free to ask for further explanations.

Answering your statement is tough becase I don't fully undersatnd what you have said.
The point is that there is 1 yearly competition in Yarmouth, and we have 2 seasons.
Whatever way round you look at it, there will always be one season, be it summer or winter, where the previous season league winners and runners up have already qualified for a place in Yarmouth.
I would like to think that Yarmouth is one of many things worth playing for in the CAPL league.
Winning the league in itself should make it worthwhile - so in that, there is always something worth playing for Chris!

Guidance from the EPA states that in the event of duplication in the 4 teams, the other two teams have to come from Winter season qualification. This is because the top 2 summer teams have already qualified and are therefore discounted from the winter qualification process.
A side effect of this is that Summer KO Cup is not, therefore, a C of C qualification route.

Yea, that's 'our' Jamie alright.
Drawn to Vikas, is a very winnable match for Jamie.

I believe cash is paid from last 32 onwards too. Michael seems to have a good draw aswell. Its £100 quid for last 16 if its the same as the last 2 years usually only has 32 runners at yarmouth which is maybe what made you think of one win and in the money Interesting that they have opened it up to 64 runners and not increased money!
