Cambs county trials will be held at cambs snooker centre on the following dates- Men 13th Jan 10.30am registration Ladies and Youth 20th Jan 10.30 registration All peaple who wish to trial must send off application form with payment before 7th Jan to the county. Address and futher details can be found at www.cambspool.org.uk/ where the forms can be downloaded. Dale

just been informed you can now enter trials on the day,reg by 11.30,no late comers after that and must have county trials entry form with £8 entry fee.please could you pass this info on to anyone that wishes to enter but hasn't so far

There seems to be a problem getting the entry form from the cambspool website and it doesn't always work (especially if you use firefox as your browser instead of IE). I've put a copy of it on our website that should work ok www.cambridgeareapoolleague.co.uk/prints/cambstrials.pdf

Good luck to all the capl players in the trials later today a few of the capl representatives are dropping out this year so would be nice to replace them from within our league

Paul Reed has qualified. Chris Patient is 3/5 as is Steve Mac.

I believe Neil Williamson also made 1st reserve but not 100% on that one.

must say well done to wayne and paul cos both seemed to b playin very well from wot i saw. sure all played well but those to people i saw alot of. wayne was on fire at one point i think!! literally

I hate to say it guys but the trials seemed to be a little light on attendance.
I hope letters are sent out in future to all teams in the league.

dont know the split of capl players but there were 31 who attended.

Not sure how many attendee's entered last year. But your finishing line was 6 wasn't it, this time it was 5.

It should be 6 or 7.
I would have expected at least 50 players with around 50 teams in the CAPL league alone. Very poor.
