Mickeys C 6:6 caldecote A Happy to escape with a point tonight, we played well in the first half (with a bit of luck on our side) to lead 4:2 at the break. Mickeys then fought back well and led 6:5 before Russ earnt us the point, enjoyable match against a much improved team than we played first half of the season, should be hard to beat.

Yeah good game last night, thought you were definately the better team first half, not playing for a few weeks showed at the start.
Well done on being the first person to beat Thommo at home in a season and a half.
At 5 all I got a slice of luck to make it 6-5 then Russell got a slice of luck to make it 6-6, so all in all a fair result.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

The quality of balls and table added to a decent pool night! Been reclothed long?

It got reclothed during the season break, the other one also got reclothed just not blue.
Plays quite quick but a nice table, hopefully we'll be able to be on seperate weeks from the (A) team again next year and keep on that table.
Forgot to mention, nice gesture on your players part (Paul I think), offering a drink after Shrek went in off on the black.

Yes it was a nice gesture, it was a monster black he potted and a real shame the white flew in really. Some very good pool in some frames, fair draw and no doubt you will be tough to beat for the remainder of the season and we hope the same for us

If there is a genuine issue then you need to spell it out properly so that it can be sorted? I don't think a public forum is the correct place to do that. However, that is what you have chosen to do so please give a list of committee members that are "bang out of order" and the allegations against them?

Get on topic!
Then once you have done that I suggest you discuss with your remaining team mates exactly what the facts are. Stop eluding to half stories without knowing what happened
I remind you that you can play with 5 players as many teams have this season without throwing their toys out of their pram.
I do wonder why people are desperate to leave and reluctant to join the reigning cup champions? Perhaps deal with that before attacking the committee

5 players would have been fine but we had 3 last week hence why we were wanting to postpone. it was only 1 player that wanted to leave and has left our team the other player has moved to peterborough before the transfer went through get your facts straight. we have players that want to join us but they have or are playing for other teams.

Your player was allowed to leave after your captain agreed to the transfer. If he had refused citing a lack of replacement players then we would have also refused. The committee only gets involved in postponing matches when there are exceptional circumstances. I am not aware of any? Without exceptional circumstances then you need the agreement of the opposition to postpone. It is also legal to play with three players as you can conceivably get a draw.

....not a committee decision I have also been informed that the replacements drafted in have themselves refused to continue playing. Again not a committee decision surely? ..
